Our 02 S just went freaky on me. I had just finished with cleaning the whole intake system, and the throttle control valve to appease the EML, and all seemed fine. I drove it a couple days and then...
Drove to dinner, all was fine, came our and started up. It was about 90 degrees outside so I cranked up the A/C. The dash controls for the A/C only started flashing, dimming, turning the compressor off and on, and off. I can't seem to find threads or similar issues on the web.
My first thought was the alternator. I replaced with new a couple of years ago when I replaced my SC. Besides, the radio as well as the rest of the dash lights/instruments were behaving normally.
