That's a great looking mini, Rainman! I got to drive a black one while the dealer went over mine once we had signed the papers, but it didn't look nearly as good as yours does in your signature.

 

Thanks. For the winter rims I went with silver to see how it would look. They don't look so well. The black rims and chrome trim ring really complete the package.

We came really close to buying a Mellow Yellow MINI. They do look nice. It had everything we wanted but it was an automatic. I absolutely refused to buy an automatic. I wasn't so sure of getting a MINI with anti-mini coloring but the all black sort of made it stand out from the MINIs. And isn't that part of buying a MINI? Standing out from the crowd? :P

 

Absolutely! I love walking out to the parking lot from work and seeing my MINI standing out from the crowd in it's tiny but fierce way! I'm with you on the manual transmission too; why lose half the fun by going automatic? I've only had motorcycles and manual transmission trucks until now, so I wasn't about to change to automatic just when it got good! Looking forward to meeting you at the Ho Chunk/Loess Hills event.
