Hello everyone

I bought a new '06 Cooper S for my wife about a year ago. She has about 8000 miles on it.

Anyway, its got the JCW body kit and engine stuff, sweet car fun as hell with 18" black JCW spoke wheels.

My car is a 2006 BMW 330i. I like to drive her car, but it understeers like mad, and although I like how soft the suspension is, I think it needs to be tightened up.

I've looked a little at the Dinan suspension and the JCW upgrades as well, but I'm wondering what your experienced advice as a group is when it comes to upgrading the suspension to tighen up the steering, reduce body roll, and reduce understeer.

I've started searching the forum and looking for stuff, but you know how it can take forever to decipher everything when you don't know what you're looking for.

I want the best bang for the buck obviously, but at the same time I want quality, tried-and-true upgrades that won't break when I hit a bump. I'd like to maintain as much ride quality and suspension travel, no all-out race type mods, this is a street car in every sense of the term.

Thanks for your input guys (and girls?)

The best bang for your buck would be a set of H-Sport Springs all around and a 19mm rear sway bar. But... Since you've already got the JCW engine & aero kits, I'd go with the JCW suspension & brake kits. Not the cheap way around the problem by any stretch but good for your resale value.

Search key is your friend...

Start with a sway bar. Money no object: http://store.webbmotorsports.com/ind...b3deb67d499217
It's fully adjustable.

Otherwise, go with a 19 or 22mm bar from ALta, IE, Madness, H-Sport...etc. Then go with some springs if think more is needed. Welcome and have fun!
