Scrub radius and tire friction

I've been following an interesting experiement by a suspension engineer...astually discussing with him.

He races both powered and gravity cars. He found gravity cars to be alarmingly faster with zero scrub as they go thru turns. I asked if if we would notice the difference in powered cars...not sure this is beneficial with regard to powered cars requiring some buildup of friction at the contact patch.

I'll keep all those interested in the fine details in the loop.
