Suspension Alta sway bar
Takes me 1-2 hours to do, depend upon how much a hurry I'm in and how hot it is. If I was a qualified shop I'd have more tools at my disposal (Like a lift and air tools) and could have it done even quicker.
As the title is "Alta Sway Bar," I think I'll take this oppertunity to ask another question about this bar:
Are the ends of the bar welded on, and if so does this in any way compromise the strength of the bar? I don't know what techniques are used by other companies, so my question may moot.

We can do a rear swaybar now in 25-30 minutes, blindfolded, one hand tied behind the back...
The MCS is only slightly trickier than the MC, and the MCC/MCSC ('vert) is only slightly harder! I wouldn't pay more than $80, period (we charge $40, but we're cheap).

most other companies bars(h sport,H&r,madness, webb, ireland) are single piece construction
Took me less than an hour in my garage on jack stands and my first one on a MINI- not that hard... and I am not very skilled with tools

Just installed my 1st sway bar. 1 hr 15 min - start to finish. And this was on my own. It really is very simple. Prying the subframe sounds scary, but in reality is super simple – easily a one man job. Take your time, follow the instructions and its dead easy.
If you can change your oil, or a spare tire, the sway bar shouldn’t be a big challenge.

I installed my 22mm Alta sway bar and new endlinks in just over 2 hours with only me, a single rear jack, and no power tools. Depending on where you live, I wouldn't pay over $80 bucks.
