Suspension adjustments

I am getting some adj. camber plates and rear control arms. Can these be adjusted while on the ground? I am sure the camber plates can be adj. while on the ground, but what about the control arms. What is the proper procedure for each?

Camber Plates:
It's a good idea to jack up the front of the vehicle slightly when adjusting the camber plates. You don't want to fight gravity.

Control Arms:
Jack up the rear of the vehicle completely when adjusting the control arms. You don't want to fight the tire's friction while on the ground.

Good Luck!

An alighment rack with "sliding pads" is the best way .
If you do it your self raise the weight off the wheels but then you have to let the adjustments 'set in" and check.
That can leed to some hit and miss and you still need a way to measure the settings.
For some time I woid set my own using home made camber and toe in measuring devices.
Now I set the specs at a great alignment place and leave things alone.
Front camber plate when adjusted to give camber does change toe in the WRONG direction so some gain but also some loss.
Install all the parts and get an agressive alignment and ENJOY

i also got both the above. I think i'll get a good suspension place to put them on. I tried fitting the control arms, but the upper bolt was in too cramped a place to reach with a ratchet. I need a spanner.

I also run the same tires as you, funnily enough...
