mushrooming cause ride hight difference ?

I'm wondering if the effects of mushrooming can cause a difference in ride height. I have drivers side that is 24 1/2 and pasanger side 24 5/8th. I have H-sport springs on the car.

YES

(Even even some camber plates add height)

Do you know, or now think because of the difference, think you have mushrooming ?

If your not sure of mushrooming try to look at another MINI side by side

All 3 studs should point STRAIGHT UP, not "flowered" out.

One pal of mine didn't know he was shrooming untill he was adding a strut tower brace and it wouldn't line up on all 3 studs !

I'm waiting until after Christmas to install my new M7 strut tower but maybe I'll take it out to the garage and try to line it up right now. I've had the springs for about a year and if I remember correctly the height was off way back then.

I also read somewhere that the factory ride height had a tolerence of plus or minus 1cm in production...

So it could just be your unique little car.

Well I took my strut tower out to the garage last night. Big mistake ! I just had to mount it but then I thought, why not just install the plates and leave the bar in the box and re seal it. My wife won't know a thing and when I pull it out of the box Christmas morning she won't know the difference . The plates fit flat so I don't think I have had any mushrooming, I hope !

If the plates fit flat, it is highly unlikely that you have mushrooming. It would seem you have a more unique (+/- 1 cm variance) car.
