Suspension Alignment question?
Alignment question?
I serached and didn't quite find the right answer, excuse me if its out there, maybe I didn't look hard enough. I went to get an alignment from a friend today, but one of his service techs told him we couldn't adjust the rear alignment because neither camber or toe was adjustable in the rear factory...? Is this correct? They stopped short of telling me to buy rear control arms. They're on the to-do list anyway, I just didn't want to get them THIS soon.. What do I do here?
The rear toe is adjustable to some degree by shifting the trailing arm.
On the newer MINIs (I believe 2005 on) there is an eccentric bolt on the
lower control arms that allow a little camber adjustment.
On the front, only toe-in is adjustable.

*raises hand to ask a noob question*
In all my research, I never ran into the fact that the 05s had some camber adjustment. So I ordered control arms with my h-sport springs. Is there enough adjustment in the stock setup to deal with a more mild lowering? If I put them in anyway, where should the eccentric bolt sit?
Thanks.
