Suspension A quick question about droplinks
I hate to revive such an old thread, but.....
I have been reading lots about end/drop links. I know what they are for, but am curious as to which are "prefered" by fellow NAMers.
There are Alta, Webb, ProMini, Cobalt, etc and so on. Which ones hold up to heavy street and occasional track use? Do any show wear more than others?
What's in use by you all and what do you recommend?

Powergrid endlinks and that's it! These are non-hiem joint endlinks. Powergrid endlinks are OEM in style, but built for racing. They're a ball joint type endlink and therefore have twice the articulation of a hiem joint. They are a little heavier than stock and most aftermarket endlinks, but they are absolutely smooth in operation and will not bind.
If you go the Don's web site - dhm - you'll find these under suspension.

I concur - IMHO, the Powergrid endlinks are THE best, hands down, and we've beat the heck out of them on both our beastly Cooper and Dr. Mike's MCS. I daily drive the Cooper and flog it on the track routinely, and Dr. Mike hits the track and AX a LOT in the MCS (and drives it to work every now and then).
