Many thanks to TonyB for talking me thru the uploading process.

These are photos of the strut towers one alginment shop destroyed trying to set camber - gee wiz, don't these guys know what a ball-end allen key looks like?

damaged strut towers

Medicine kit...plus a little go juice and grinder

Some etching primer

A view of the stone wall I built...makes me feel like I can fix things

finshed, and nice and flat and smooth

finished from another angle

Apologies in advance for the numerous photo screw ups here. Hey, at least I got this far. In reality, I tried to load five photos at once and therein was my problem before. The system does not like that. One at a time now, no troubles.

oops! Where'd you come from?

This is a great advertisement for finding an alignment shop you can trust, with a guy who knows and likes you! I just got mine aligned at a Firestone owned by a fellow NM MINI club member. Perry's my man! He spent 2 hours on my car, letting me get in his way, explaining every thing about the digital alignment equipment and didn't charge a nickel.
The benefits of being a club member, I suppose. At least you got it to look reasonably normal with some paint.

cheers,
