04 MCS suspesion different from the previous?

hi all,

I have a 04 MCS with sport package, However, i realize that my ride height is higher than my friend's 02 MCS, we both are running stock suspension, he told me that Mini change the suspension spec a bit on the 04+ to make the ride less stiff and higher, i want to know if this is true or it's rumor. if yes which hadling is better.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers

Effective with May 2003 builds changes were made to the shock absorbers (oil viscosity and valve structure).
