Suspension New shocks w/H&R springs?
New shocks w/H&R springs?
We're replacing my stock springs this week with new H&Rs (would love to see pics if you have any handy)
. I have the Alta 22mm bar and 16" F1 GS-D3s. My car has 45,000 miles.
Anyone swap out the stock shocks with new ones along with H&R springs?
If so, big difference? I'll probably have to change mine out in the not-too-distant future anyway.

i have koni's with my H&R's and i love it. Amazing what you can do with the adjustments. I have almost no body roll, and when adjusted right, my car dips down into the apex upon throttle lift. Just how i wanted it for the twisty mountain roads. Definitely worth the money. (www.shox.com has the best koni price)
My stock struts only lasted about 8 months with my H&Rs on...then they got a little less firm (they were 2.2 years old at that time and were the old 2002 model, stiffer struts from before they changed for comfort reasons)

I have mine pretty stiff, and be warned that its not exactly a luxury ride.
Right now i'm experimenting with 1/2 turn back from full stiff on all 4. Usually i have the fronts a little less stiff....but im just testing.
Randy webb suggest 1/2 from full on the rears to begin with i believe
