Very true.

Is that the hollow H-Sport Comp bar? if so, doesn't it have the same effective rate as a 22mm bar?

I'm not trying to quibble, I'm just curious to know if your running some kind of big honkin' bar & also if you're balancing it by using stilts for springs!

Yep, that's the one. I figure I can get even more oversteer bias by adding camber plates in front though. After all, isn't the whole point of having such a short car the ability to rotate the car while staying in your lane? With such a long 97" wheelbase, oversteer in long high-speed sweepers is very manageable--and fun. Like driving on dirt:smile:. Remember the original evil 911 had an 87" wheelbase making lightning fast reflexes mandatory. Porsche 'fixed' that by extending the wheelbase to just 89" in later models. And with a Porsche you don't have the option of just tromping on the gas to catch the rear end...

Now if I could only get the DSC to stop automatically turning itself off every time I exceed 18psi boost, I would be able to avoid some nasty surprises on the street

We just installed an alta 22mm on the stiff setting on Mandaboos car (wife) and wow what a difference now, does everyone have the dsc shutting off at 18psi? if so, I gotta get me some more boost , since I hate dsc and she had to have it (it is safer for her, I'm more old school and want to drive myself)

Chow,

I have the Alta 22mm bar. I haven't even had my car on the track yet. With that said. The upgrade was simply about increasing the fun factor of the car. I can easily say that you don't have to drive to the 10's to get some enjoyment out of this upgrade. If that seems pointless to you then that probably means you are better off spending your money on something else.

So for me the point is increasing the FUN FACTOR. Its not about increasing my lap times around my city streets. Now one day when I start tracking my car...it'll be ready to go. Until then its just HAPPIER motoring.

I hope that sort of answers your question.

Sean
