Newbie: What do I do for a softer ride?

I have my MINI for 2 weeks now, and although I don't know anything about cars, I know i love my MINI.

What do I need to add to him to get a softer ride? Our roads are not the best around town, and I'd like not to have to wipe down the inside of the car everytime I decide to take a coffee with me!
Thanks!

If you have runflat tires, you could replace them with regular tires. That would help some.

Also, if you have 17" wheels, replacing them with 16" wheels (and non-runflat tires) would help even more.

Congrats on the new MINI!

Without a doubt. Get rid of the runflats and get all seaons.

Try a Toyo Proxis or a BF Goodrich T/A.

What ScottEast said...

Smaller wheels, softer tires. To save some $, look for used stock wheels here in the marketplace....

But the runflats won't last that long... So maybe just drive them to thier death (and that can be accelerated with lots of cornering).

Also, for the coffees, get some whip cream on the top. Tends to suppress the sloshing out the lid....

Get sixteen inch wheels when you're ready to replace your tires. If this is your daily driver, you may end up having damage to your seventeen inch wheels, given where you live and the types of roads you deal with. This is particulary true with the runflats. When you replace the runflats, you'll be less likely to have problems with the 17" wheels, but in general, considering your complaint, go with some 16" wheels.

Try your dealer for take-offs from a car that has been upgraded, or look on eBay or here in Marketplace.
