Strut Dented? How in the ........

I just did my chassis cleaning tonight, and when i had the passenger side rim off, i noticed a crease in the side of the strut that lined up with the tire and rim. all the suspension and tire/rim package are factory. i'm not quite sure what may have done this, but I'm worried my suspension may be shifting around like it shouldnt be.....

anyone ever seen this?

If its what I think it is........it's normal. Did you check the driverside strut? I saw the same on anther car and noticed it was on both sides. Its just part of the design.
