Need a Set of Bilstein Spanners in the Tampa FL area

I bought my Mini used, it came with some nice upgrades from the PO, however it is set to low for my tastes and to stiff. Sadly the PO didn't shove the spanners for the coilovers in the car when he traded it in.

If anyone has a set of spanners I could borrow, buy, have, barter for...you get the picture.

I've never owned a car with coilovers before so I'm going to need them for a weekend at least while I fiddle and experiment with the car to get it setup correctly.

Should be able to buy a new set of spanners from bilstein for a reasonable price. These coilovers are stiff but not unreasonably so when set to 0/10. There is a limit to the lowering height. If you simply crank the spring seats all the way up, you will coil bind the springs. I would recommend seeing if you can find a set of instructions for them.

I've done some looking online as well, and they're not expensive.

But as with everything I'd rather check around locally before ordering and having to wait for it.

I'm not looking to max out the height on the coilovers, but I would like some more travel in the suspension along with a softer ride (from what I've read I can get the comfort I need from these coils no problem). I'm looking to end up around the the stock height or possibly just a tad lower, right now my rear tire is tucked a bit into the wheel well...

You wont end up near stock height. Minimum lowering on this kit is at around 1.25in. Anywhere higher than that and you end up running the risk of coil binding the springs.

Good to know, either way that's fine. Not overly concerned about the height as I am with the ride and not slamming the car around on our shitty roads.

An inch and a quarter is what I'd call a "tad" lower.
