KW V3 Rear Ride Height. Want to go Higher

This spring i want to raise the rear of the car as it is now rubbing more than i like but was unable to after removing my rear coils as i fould the coil was turned as high as it will go before the shock rod is fully extended out of the shock body while the threaded portion still has two plus inches of travel upwards. Therefore i am now fully extending the rod and my tire is still slightly tucking into the wheel. I would like to go higher!

Has anyone had experience with this? Can it be corrected? A call to KW has suggested that is the range the coilovers are capable of.

How much do your rear shocks compress when the car is on the ground? You can preload the springs beyond what it takes to fully extend the rod, but you wouldn't want so much preload that the shocks are fully extended when the car is on the ground.

I don't want preload. The car regularly lifts a rear tire on the track so fully extending it will lead to damaging the shock itself. Im just surprised KW has made the shock travel what it is. I just want to go 1/4" up at the most.
