Someone may find this helpful...
This video is of a 2011 MCS with sport suspension and the H-Sport 25.5mm RSB on middle setting, no other suspension mods. Steering inputs were used for moderate corrections only. Rotation and minor corrections were done primarily with throttle inputs.

So I decided that a stiffer FSB is absolutely necessary on my 2013 MCS R56. Problem is that I have an extended warranty and dealer says aftermarket product install could "void" warranty, at least as to any rear suspension issues (they will claim problem relates to bar, etc.). So, I have stock suspension with 17mm RSB. JCW bar is 18.5mm and costs $163.00. Install by dealer about $150.00 and no warranty issues. Just seems the obvious choice.

What am I missing???

Meh, warranty. I'd care but my dealer is pretty cool. Minus noise, or worn links... It's pretty harmless. It's not like the cars are known for suspension issues. Do you mean RSB? Or FSB?

Having had the 18mm bar.. The h-sport blows it away. Frankly a 18.5mm would be pretty much a very mild upgrade.. If anything truly useful. My car still pitched quite a bit with the sport (oe) bar.

Gambedegallina, I assume you meant RSB instead of FSB. In my opinion a stiffer RSB is the best bang-for-buck change you can make on an R56, it makes a huge difference in reducing understeer. I went with a 22mm. I wouldn't worry about warranty.

After that, front camber plates and a really good alignment - I was blown away by the difference that -2 degrees of camber all the way around made.

22MM is the best...you just drive and not think about it.

Kinda like having arizonians on a corvette The tires are 50% of your suspension so I'd start with better tires first.

I got a JCW 18.5 bar for $25 so I used it, for sure helped taking those overhead ramps at speed.

No we've put the Hsport comp bars on the GP2 and they were still great. did it on the middle setting too.

I hate when dealers give people this BS. A sway bar can only void the warranty on the sway bar. And shocks are considered wear and tare items so the warranty will never cover them with or without an aftermarket sway bar.
Going to the JCW sway bar is not going to be enough difference to justify the cost. Go with an aftermarket bar and don't let the dealer scare you into buying their part with that warranty nonsense. Hsport Comp bar is by far the best.

Hsport Comp bar set up in the middle seems just right on the street.
