ST X, XA or XTA coilovers?

Does anyone know if KW's ST XA or XTA line of coilovers is sold in the US? They seem to be a cheaper version of KW's V2's and maybe V3's, just like the ST's are a cheaper version of KW's V1's.

Trying to help out a fellow NAM'er who is having problems with his ST's and I think if I can get some numbers off a set of these they will help him out.

ST XTA coilover

Search is your friend.

Forum vendor TheSuspensionSource has a post on here dated in April that they would be getting these soon.

Additionally I found they are available by special order through the Tire Rack.

Price is $1318 for the ST XTA, which is basically a galvanized version of the KW V2's but includes a top mount Camber plate. In some applications it can be caster adjustable.

In pictures, it looks to me they have gone to lengths to seal the pillow ball, to prevent dirt and corrosive elements from entering.

It looks like they come with linear rate springs and helpers front and rear and are rebound adjustable.

This is not a track setup.

My guess is that the front springs are 50N (285 lbs) and the rear are 40N (228 lbs).

They seem to have been released in Europe earlier this year and are available for Mini's, Golf VII's and the FT-86 Toyota/Subaru

p.s. it appears ECS Tuning also has these. Looks like they are $ 1318 everywhere.

p.s. p.s. Got a question from someone about these and in looking at pics of them again, though the details are hard to see, it look, in my opinion to be less than great news.

Keep in mind, the pics may just be representative and not actual but Gen one cars like the R53 have helpers only in the front and appear to come with a 140 mm long main spring in an 80N rate. The 80 is the hardest thing to see. Sort of a good news bad news thing because if they are going to be that short they certainly need to be at least that stiff but Most people would think this is to stiff.

Gen 2 cars, Like the R56, come with no helpers but instead have 200 mm main springs. This would appear to me to have it's own fitment issues.
