Suspension Are you running ST or KW V1s?
This is yet another account of the solution to a problem with the ST/KW FRONT progressive rate springs that are designed improperly. Not a lot of people running these on minis so far as I can tell from the absence of much feedback on this forum or other forums. Solution is to get KW linear springs from their clubsport kit (main springs/helper springs/crossovers) and make sure you go with a soft spring rate to compliment the dampers up front. Buy top caps from Ireland Engineering and then have them modified to accept the 61mm inner diameter of the KW linear springs. You should be good to go. Also want to say that Way Motorworks was not helpful in finding this out because he (apparently a sponsor here) was too interested in trying to sell his own kits rather than help someone out who had no intentions on buying his kit if there was a simple low cost solution. Unfortunately for him he also eliminated ANY possibility of my purchasing anything from him in the future. I even was willing to buy the springs from him but something KW readily shared with me was some SUPER SECRET in his mind. Gee thanks Way...you won't be seeing any biz from me or my friends who now know better. Wonder if I'll get banned for sharing the truth to others here. Selfish and greed are the two words that come to mind when I think about it.
