suspension performance alignment setup numbers ??

Well my Ohlins finally showed up on the slow boat. I have the lower adjustable control arms, the Tarett sway bar , Advons Racing 17"s

I have been looking at forms to try and get in my mind what the "best" settings are for street/track. Now i say the "track" term lightly... I do drive aggressive on the street and enjoy a good curvy road.I even have a few roads I call "my track"..

run 2 deg front neg camber - 1- 1.3 deg neg rear camber 1/16 toe in rear ??
.I understand 0 toe in the rear is good for the track but I do cruse at 90 on the highway so I want some stability in the higher speeds as well....

Any suggestions and knowledge would be appreciated

Barry

sounds like a good starting point.

hopefully i will be ordering my ohlins in the next month or so. i will be stsrting with a little more aggressive setup, i am going to go 2.5 up front and 1.75 rear, with the same as you 1/16 rear toe out.

where do you order your ohlins from?

I ordered mine with Performance Shocks ( tracy@performanceshock.com )
but... I ordered them the begining of April, they are suppose to be here today !! I'm not sure if Ohlins made a full run at making a few sets of just my order, but if your wanting a set I would call them and find out. Just email Tracy and ask.
Then the Vorshlag Camber plates where not ordered so now I'm waiting on those next week. No big deal cause I'm out of town working.
I put my Advan wheels on and now the stock brakes look funny...lol I got my finger on the safety looking at the wilwoods , I can get front and back set for 1920.00 .......sooo safety might go off here soon and its trigger time.... I just HATE paying for brakes.....lol

yeah, i will email him when i am about to order. not quite ready yet.

wilwood brakes are great too. i cannot do them for the class i am autoxing in but i had a fast brakes kit on my integra track car that used wilwood calipers. for the money, you cant beat them. as long as you do not get the tracklite calipers, thay are cheap garbage.

Thanks for the heads up on the wilwood.I wish wilwood offered them in silver.

I have read a few forums with people having problems with the E-brake and cables. I hope that issue has been addressed.

I talked with Todd at TCE Brakes about the wilwoods I want to put on. I think I'm going to pay a little bit more for the set and get his knowledge a long with the kit. He has the cables and everything for the E-Brake....
I will place my order next week and then have the coilovers , sway bar and brakes put on at once.....
I can't wait to feel the ride......

I will start my forum off with that installed and then my other pile of goodies will start coming out with dyno runs after each part installed...
