Megan adjustable rear control arms almost same length as stock?

Hey all, I was installing my Megan Racing (I know they aren't top of the line, maybe this is why? lol) and I noticed that at the shortest length they are only about an eight to a quarter inch shorter than the stock arms.

I installed them as lower control arms so I need the to be shorter so as to increase camber to compensate for my coilovers I just installed. I know you don't need a lot of adjustment to change camber but I feel as though I will need more than what is possible with these arms.

Any thoughts as to why these don't give much more adjustment for increased camber?

Also note I know I can install them in the upper control arm postition and lengthen them to increase camber but I have the ride height sensor thingy (lol) on the driver side arm so not sure how that would mount on aftermarket arms.

Any thought or help is appreciated as I'd like to get this sorted before my alignment.

Thanks!

Question, is your MINI lowered? If so why do you want to add camber? You should take some of that executive rear camber out.

Yes it is lowered, I installed coilovers at the same time. That is exactly what I want to do. If you re-read my post I want to add positive camber in the rear but the arms don't go any shorter to add more positive camber.

That's strange. I have the Hotchkis H-Sport adjustable control arms and can make them at least 2-3 inches shorter that the stock arms. I also have them on the uppers and I used a zip-tie to attach the ride height sensor to the arm, just make sure it's tight or the highlights will be bouncy on bumps.

Yeah I don't know what the deal is with these things. They are as short as they can go and they are barely shorter than stock. Can anyone with Megan arms comment on this?

Good info on the sensor. Maybe I'll install them on the top and be done with it. They can be installed on top and be used as camber arms and still be able to adjust toe on the trailing arm correct?

Thanks. I might just do that...although even the way it sits the camber seems pretty close to spec. Maybe I'll take it to get aligned and if it's close I'll have them align it and if it's not I'll take it back home and swap them to the top position.

Hell, I don't know lol.
