Complete and utter crap.

What do you mean you can only buy the fronts? Do you mean you can only afford the fronts, or, you can't find the rears?

To answer the OP questions; You’d be better off buying all 4 but I believe you can buy just the fronts. First place that comes to mind is, www.waymotorworks.com.
Megan has 2 types of coilovers; racing and an ez street for the Mini. You may have more search success if you search “megan coilovers north american motoring” on google.

Megan racing coil overs are junk. Low end, low quality, harsh ride, crap. End of story.

Koni is a well known suspension company where Megan is a low quality, knock off catch-all company that tries to dip their hands in every aftermarket part they can make a buck on. So you can imagine what the quality of their products are.

If you can only afford the front struts FOR NOW, grab em and start saving up for the rears. Once you have 4 adjustable struts/shocks on that car with your H&R springs, you'll be very pleased with the handling you can dial in.

Currently we have H&R suspension components on sale like Cup Kits. We also have the coilovers in H&R as well as ST coilovers on sale plus free shipping ( free ship ST only ). We also carry Koni.

You did not post your model or year, once known then I can post your options.

Thanks

Can you please expand on your statement by providing the following?
How long you've had them on your MINI?
How many miles you've had them?
How you use your MINI?
How low you have your MINI?
Which Megan coilover setup did you have?

Comparing to a $3K+ coilover Megan’s may be junk, but compared to OEM wouldn’t it be fair to say they are an improvement? Most of us on this forum are not track junkies and are just looking to make performance or aesthetics improvements to our cars. Or in the OP case simply the need to replace worn OEM parts without breaking the bank.

No, I would not say they are an improvement over stock. cheap coilovers like that ride like crap (on my MINI? No, but I've driven and ridden in a few different cars with cheap coilovers, 2 of which were Megans. And I've seen some of their other products in person too...you get what you pay for).

I don't see how gaining a stiffer, bouncier ride, in some cases that can HURT handling characteristics and make the car less predictable and harder to control is an improvement over stock. If ALL you want to do is slam your car to eliminate wheel gap, they do the job. But at a price. It's wasted money, will make your DD a miserable experience, and you will then want to buy decent parts. Thus, saving for higher quality parts is cheaper in the long run.

Thanks for the feedback. I had been going back and forth between Megan or Koni on MN Eng clubman springs or TSW springs. I agree that Koni will likely give a better ride but having 85K on the car I worry about getting the axle vibration and not having a solution. At least on Megans I could bring the ride back up close to original height to eliminate the vibration if it comes up as a result of lowering.

ST coilovers all the way up still give a 1.2in drop. Anyone know what the minimum drop is on the H&R touring Cup Kit?

Thanks
