Does anyone make thicker spring pads for the r53? I am looking for an alternative to jcw springs but it seems everything out there drops the car too much. I'm looking for 1/2" drop max. It got me thinking that you could buy some performance springs then decide how low to go depending on the spring pad used. Thoughts? I would assume that is too big of a pad was used you could run into issues with the springs binding.

Ps I am running Koni FSD's so going low is not an option. Plus I don't want to scrape everywhere I go. Been there, done that...

Or could you eliminate the spring pads all together and run stock springs for a minimal drop in height?

With Koni FSD I'd stick with stock springs or JCW springs. I'd avoid adding a bunch of rubber as a spacer. IE fixed camber plates will add a tiny bit of ride height back (maybe 1/8th to a 1/4 of an inch) and make a big difference in handling. Plus they eliminate mushrooming and are more durable than stock.
