KSport?

Quick question, has anyone used KSport RR (Road Race) coilovers on their R53? I'm trying to decide on coilovers, and KSport's seem to be pretty nice quality, found em for less than 1k with pillowball uppers, camber plates, all that jazz. RR's are 14k f/r, pretty stiff, still looking at the AR (Asphalt Rally) which are 9k f/r but i don't think they'll go as low. any input would be appreciated!

Kontrol Pro

Nothing on the RR series, but plan on installing a set of Kontrol Pro's this week, time permitting.

The seals will be the weak point. I've seen those shocks leak within a year. Also, a pillow ball bearing is excellent for race cars, because it has very little deflection, but for street cars it's not so good. Corrosion and road grime can get into the bearing surface and degrade it. It'll be only a matter of months before it starts to clatter. A bearing with a flexible media like rubber or polyurethane will last much longer and is recommended for street cars.

Ksports are on and they provide a very nice ride. Height adjustment couldn't be easier, and you don't have to adjust the springs to adjust height.

I will be putting on some miles before I start with the adjustments, but for now this setup is much better than the one I had before. Don't believe what you read about the pillow ball being bad for street!

Thanks to Jerry @ Eurotechs
