Suspension The final word on rear sway bars?
All swaybar bushings are wear parts and eventually will need maintenance and/or repair. Some more frequently than others. I recommend the H Sport rear bar (Comp or Sport) which has polyurethane bushings. They do need to be greased when installed, and re-lubed about every 12 to 18 months. If you maintain that schedule, they will last close to the life of the car. If you let them dry, you'll be buying new bushings. We do keep new bushings in stock. They're $25 for the set.
CassRacing, do you get clunky noises when hitting bumps? Cause that's whats happening to me. It's a BRAND NEW H-Sport competition bar too. It started happening three weeks later to me. I am gonna have to go back to Detroit Tuned to see what happened.
I'd recommend going with the Hsport Comp bar. I've had customers that have had them for 10+ years on their car with no issues. I personally have had one on my R53 for the last 7yrs with no issue, and I took it off my previous R53 when I put it on my current R53. I've never needed to regrease or do anything to it. In the last 10yrs I've only ever regreased one Hsport bar, they truly are the best.
The H&R bushings are their marketing exclusive feature. They won't sell their bushings separately, unless you prove (sales receipt) that you already have an H&R bar.
My H&R bar is now at 70K miles with no maintenance and no issues. I chose H&R specifically because I wanted an install-and-forget product with no maintenance.

So I just had a WMW sway bar installed on my R60 and have this same 'squeaking'. Took it back to the mechanic for a check up where the fittings were regreased. I don't think that the individual fittings were removed and greased individually, but it sounds like that's the best way to go...or is it just better to get the Zerk fittings?
Anybody have any thoughts on the NM Engineering bar?

The bushings look quite sturdy. Although it is on the pricey side.
