How about wider wheel/tires up front ? 8 or 8.5 inch?

I think the work you would need to run such wide wheels and tires wouldn't make this a worthwhile endeavor. The list of easier and more cost effective options is pretty long.

Lot of good stuff here. I don't do much of that any more but still appreciate the zen of the whole thing. Get somebody to print this out big for you and hang in on your garage wall.
