Has anyone had problems with running the OEM endlinks with a 22mm solid sway bar? I am running an OEM shocks configuration with no plans for coilovers - D-Stock

I ran a 19mm sway last season in autocross with no problem but want to go up to the 22mm.

 

I asked my MINI independent shop and they told me that it's okay. I have the H-Sport Competition bar! So I don't see why not, but I plan to get them later on with my control arms when I get my coilovers on. Good luck!

 

I have about 140,000 miles on my 22mm rear bar. All with OEM end links. Most of the time running at the stiffest setting. Hundreds of autocrosses (many bumpy lots, most of the time running race tires), a bunch of track days, plus northern Ohio roads. No failures, no excessive wear, no worries.

I run a 22mm rear bar all with OEM end links with 0 issues.

 

The front end links are just as thin as the fronts and much longer and they hold up
ok to a much thicker bar than the rear.
