For those who lowered their cars and AC Line is rubbing on axle....

What modifications did you guys do to solve the rubbing issue ? I just installed the ST coilovers today and it says on the instructions manual to bend the AC line but it doesn't seem to be soft to be able to be bent. I left it as is but i can see that both the axle and the AC line has rubbing marks already. Does the zip tie mod work ?

Any help will be highly appreciated.

If one uses the zip tie method, is that putting unecessary stress on any part of that line or anything else? I'm assuming the point of the zip tie is to pull/tug the line up and away from any rubbing/touching? I just wonder if doing specifically that has any conseqences? So the only two options here are bending the line or using a plastic zip tie? I did a google search on this and came up with very little info. Just one link to this website actually. I'm surprised there is not more info on it considering the amount of lowered Mini's out there.

I did two things on my R56. The first was I made a slip plastic bushing and and used hose clamps to hold it in place just in case it was to rub on the hose it would hit the bushing instead plus I used a couple of tie wraps just to help give it just I little extra clearance
