Megan Coilover Camber Adjustment?

So installed Megan coilovers today and noticed that the allen bolts are slightly hidden under the strut tower (the hole isn't large enough). How did you guys fix this? Options are to either cut the top of the tower slightly to gain access, or just drop the show down to adjust which kind of defeats the purpose in my opinion. If you guys have cut up the tower can you show me a pic of how you did it. Thanks.

Side note... what is everyones setup? I have the backs at 5 turns from bottom, and fronts at 3. Rears are tucking, fronts are just a hair above flush. Have shocks set at all the way soft, and still feel pretty nice and stiff.

I wouldn't cut the strut tower. How often do you anticipate to adjust your camber?

Reality is not often..... kind of just bugs me that I can't. I don't like the thought of cutting a little of the tower, and ya takes 5 minutes to drop the strut out.

For something you will very rarely adjust yourself, it's really not worth hacking the tower for me personally. I'm running Megan's as well and didn't cut mine.

They're not bad for the money. They could probably benefit from better springs but overall, the quality is good. The installation is easy, but it's not a plug n play system. You will have to tweak with the ride height and 32way dampers to get it to the ride you want. While the softest setting feels good, the rebound that comes along with it is enough to shoot you out of your sunroof if you're not strapped in. I'm a month into mine and still searching for the best street setting.

I agree with Evasive, for the money you won't find any better. You will end up messing with any coilover you get, and with the Megans you get the camber plates, which if anything will save your towers. The only thing that I really had to adjust was the spring perches were set too low so they rubbed the tires. I adjusted them up about 4 turns and that fixed that.

Thought of a viable solution to adjust the camber without removing the suspension. My camber slipped twice now due to the grease I put on the pillow ball nut.

I haven't done it but if mine slips again, what I'm thinking is replacing the allen bolts with a standard 6 point bolt and use a flex wrench to loosen and tighten the bolt. I may still have to raise the car a little bit and loosen the three strut tower bolts, but it would not require disassembly of the suspension. A flex wrench like below should fit in easily.

There is multiple holes to move the screws so they are more accessible. also you can use a ball allen wrench. And some have bent or cut the edge of the hole to get the the screws.
