I was swapping wheels today and noticed that there's some cracking where the Alta RSB clamps are secured. I'm not sure if this is normal or not. I've attached a pic to show what i'm talking about. Can anyone confirm if this cracking is on their cars or just mine?

Hi there. May I ask who did the install? It almost appears that the portion of the body was possibly hammered in a bit. I just installed the 22mm alta rsb on my 2010 mcs and noticed close contact at the inside of the bushings with the seams in the under body. I'm wondering if the cracks were caused by someone hammering on the body to make room.

 

I did the install with a buddy of mine. We didn't hammer anything in at all. But from the looks of it after looking at youtube videos and DIY guides related to that area of the car, it's normal. The youtube video on installing a RSB from mini madness shows that that same area has the same wear markings.
