Suspension IE fixed plates with coilovers
IE fixed plates with coilovers
Hey there NAM hive mind, I have been searching like a mad man and have only found scattered and contradictory reports about this.
I have the IE fixed camber plates up front and was wondering I am correct in assuming that they are fine to use with the ST, KW v1, or H&R Streets. Since it appears from pictures etc. that the ST and H&R have trapezoidal springs (maybe kw v1 do as well??) and I think you need to re-use the upper spring perches for these models of coil, that you can use the plates seeing as they are really just a modified OEM (ish) upper mount.
The second thing is, would these mounts be alright if you had 60mm OD springs with their corresponding perch?
Thanks
E

I have found an answer to my own question from a former member of this forum...
As long as the coilovers are designed to reuse everything above the spring (spring perch etc.) then they are fine to go with.
In this case both the ST and the H&R street (maybe rss) are fine.
