Lowered Suspension

We are trying to offer the right parts to the Mini community. So we gotta ask...what are you guys doing for lowered suspension?

Coilovers?

Lowering Springs?

What brands do you use?

Are you adding sway bars?

Price over function or Function over price?

i first ran lowering springs (H&R) because they were the cheapest solution to get rid of the suv look. now i am on coils (kwv1) because i wanted to go lower than springs would allow me. while i was doing the suspension work, i went ahead and put a 22mm (alta) sway bar along with endlinks (alta) for the rear only. i also got rear lower control arms (H-sport) and adjustable camber plates (IE) so i could get the needed camber to make sure i didnt rub.

as far as the price game, i went with the brands that had the overall best reviews from the mini community. where i ended up was in the midrange of parts, didnt get the cheapest things out there but i didnt go ***** out and dry my wallet out but function was def at the utmost importance.

I'm currently on H&R springs, but am looking for a set of coilovers. Either H&R Street, V-MAXX or Megan Racing.

KW Yes. A bit more than I want to spend. ST, not really as if I'm going to spend that amount of money, then I'd rather go with the H&R's or Megan's........Unless you want to cut me a really great deal
