coilover hight adjustment

hi guys

I've just mounted a set of weitec gt coilovers on my R50 justa, I did the work myself so I need your help with some stuff
I've had the front wheels set by a tire repairer who did a workmenlike job (I have installed also front camber plates, so I needed a precise regulation)
My problem is at the rear: I have the rear right wheel which is lower than the left one, even if the right coil is set higher then the left (a pair of spins higher). At the beginning I had adjusted the two coils with the same hight, then I gave the right one two spins more. I still have the impression it's not perfect, but it depends on where I park it
so my questions are:
Is it normal that i have this difference? How do you adjust the car hight? what do you use as a reference while setting? how do you make sure that the place where you are working is perfectly plain?

I'm no expert but I do know you can't go by measuring at the top of the tire to the plastic fender. Those could be off 1/4'' or more side to side..The plastic fenders have room for adjusting alittle with the clips they use to mount.

I'd suggest measuring from something under the car maybe..

i'd respectfully suggest corner weighting if you can find a qualified shop.

anything less will leave you with asymmetrical handling.

kind regards,

Charlie

yeah probably you're right, I'll look for a shop, but the doubt remains: where should I measure it?

I suggest measuring from the ground to the bottom of the lifiting/jacking blocks at each corner of the car. There will be less variation than the fender lips, and it's an easy way to get an accurate measurement.

yeah, I could try, even if probably e measurement taken right from the chassis would be better, but for sure the one you say is an easy way
