Planning On Lowering

hey guys, i got a justa with jcw suspension(i work at a dealership for bmw/mini) so yea ummm i had that put on and was wondering if i could use those shocks with lowering springs, or would i have to get new shocks also? please help!!!!

It's always highly suggested to purchase a beefier aftermaket strut / shock because of the increased spring rate of lowerings springs, AND the decreased strut piston travel due to higher spring rate. Damping is critical and most owners tend to overlook due to cheap-pockets.

+1 @ bluefox

Newminidude: you'd be able to use it with lowering springs, but the springs that came with the jcw suspension are already lowered 10mm. I would personally not lower it, but if you're going to, get TSW springs for a mild drop or NM springs for a lower drop. I would recommend bilstein shocks, but you already shelled out for the JCW shocks
