I did some searching online for this part # ( X/A 29090 VA). I believe, but am not certain that these springs will work for my 2008 Cooper S.

Can someone verify this for me?

I believe i found my answer. I just formatted the part number a bit differently. It looks like these springs are for the 2009. However, the only difference I can see is that the drop is less than that for a 2008 (1.2/1.1 vs 1.4/1.4). Oh, and the fact that these are for the Convertible.

Is there any reason why i couldn't use these in a 2008 S Hardtop?

 

We've had several customers with complaints about the H&R's I'd look into some other springs.
