Suspension lowering advice??
lowering advice??
i want to lower my mini but i dont know what to do. I know i still want a good ride and dont want to be slammed to the ground. send pics my way for help would be great too. thanks shawn
JCW suspension is exactly what you are looking for. Basically OEM ride but a touch stiffer and obviously not slammed. Other than that just going to stuffer springs and/or shocks will be a risk on the ride comfort. H&R make nice products but they are stiff... If you have the money you can go all out with coilovers and then you can adjust the height to EXACTLY to where you want it. You can also get adjustable shocks too
The JCW springs will lower the car slightly and still ride firm, not bad but one option.
The other option we prefer is the TSW lowering springs. They lower the car about 3/4 inch but maintain good shock travel and a great ride. And since they are linear rate springs the performance is super predictable and far better than other lowering springs.
