help: R56 + kw v1 + R90 = spacers?

Hi guys, need some help here!
Recently installed kw v1 on my 07 R56 with R90 rims. Love everything about it except i'm getting some squeaky noise that seems to come from the front. The mechanics said the front is at its tallest setting and the spring is compressed to the max and that's probably where the noise is coming from. However, he can't adjust the v1 to go lower unless I get some spacers.

I wonder if anyone had similar problem and can give me some pointers? I searched the forum and there's no consensus how wide do i need? Some people say 5mm is enough but the mechanic suggest me to go 15mm and he said H&R doesn't have 10mm for our mini. Appreciate your help!

Your description is lacking some detail. Do you believe the tire is rubbing on the spring? You should be able to see the wear pattern.

I also don't understand the "compressed to the max" comment. Are you saying the front spring is coil bound? Something here does not sound correct.

BTW, RACEMAX also makes spacers. You need new bolts.

Some pictures will be helpful as well.

What is the height right now with the coils? How much lower do you want to go?
