Help - Alignment settings (DD with highway usage)

I'm in need of some alignment wisdom. I need some toe settings that will be good for highway stability but I still want a crisp turn in (no autox/track, just spirited street driving). I will be doing primarily city driving but will be driving about 700 miles round trip when I visit home every 6 weeks or so. From what I've read it appears that the following would be a good idea.

Front: 0 toe (or maybe 1/32" toe out, .085 degrees?)
Rear: 1/16" toe in (0.17 degrees?)

Are those specs good for my driving conditions? When people say their alignment is 1/16 toe in is that total toe or per side? Also, what does that equate to in degrees?

Thanks in advance for the help, I'm a noob with this stuff so it's greatly appreciated.

The stock values are pretty good for your kind of driving.

You don't really want toe out for DD usage. Toe out is good for aggressive track and autox driving. A little Toe In in the front (like stock settings call for) helps keep the car tracking straight on the highway.

It depends. Some people really have no clue so you can't really take what they say literally.

I have been running toe out for over a year. This is fine for autox but makes car very dartie (sp?) for street use. Don't plan on doing much autox this year so, I'm going back to the stock toe in specs.

I keep the front at 0 and the rears a half of degree in for stability. Tracks dead straight and have excellent tire wear. Have fixed camber plates up front and set the rear camber to stock.
