"bumpy" acceleration after spring install..

So I just finished installing a set of m7 lowering springs and I'm noticing that when accelerating, the car feels "bumpy". This is only when accelerating and not when cruising at a constant speed. I've cut all the bump stops in half and am currently running my winter tires (185/65/15). An alignment was done as well. Is there a possibility that I've made a simple mistake in installation? Everything felt solid when putting back together... any help would be appreciated thanks!

also, when retightening the top nut on one of the front struts i used an impact gun and ended up spinning the shock arm really fast for a second by accident... could this have damaged the shock?

Did you happen to use an air gun to tighten the three nuts on each of the front strut towers ?

Hope not......

Its the driveshafts/CV, common issue on lowered MINIs.

Nothing to worry about for now.

Mines done it for 40 000km.

how can you be so sure? I'm thinking I wrecked a shock by spinning the piston arm on the shock verrrry fast with the impact gun by accident. If it is the driveshaFts, would it go away if I put stock springs back on?

I have H&R coilovers so it's not my "shocks". I would suspect your problem
will go away with the stock springs.

Mine too! Anyone know which parts I need to order to fix it? I have a feeling mine is coming from the driver side since I watched it on the dyno.
