H&R + additional shock absorbers

Guys, I will install an H&R springs (grey kit) in my Mini but I have a doubt, do I need to cut the "Additional shock absorbers" a little???

It will going to top lowering the car?

You can see this part in the diagram, it is #9



Please Hepl Me!!!!

Those are more commonly referred to as "bump stops"
You can cut them down to provide more travel, but if you do bottom out the shock, it will be more harsh than if they were full size.

How much of a drop do those springs claim?

Exactly what I was going to say! You'll love the springs. Huge difference even with 1.4" drop all round.

Guys yesterday we intall the springs.



We did't cut the bump stops and we drove the car for about 20 blocks. It was totally unconfortable.

So we return to the garage and we check the bump stop. The car was supported on this f*cking piece, so we jack the car and cut it about 1 inch with a cutter but I think that needs to cut 0.5" more...



Amazing change!!!! This springs are excelent!!!!!!

Check yours cars, maybe you have the same problem....

Are you on run flats??? I have the same springs and since changing out the stock run flats my ride has improved drastically!
