Suspension Bang for the buck?
Crazy to pay someone to have the swaybar installed. I'm as noob as they come. I was able to do it in 1.5hrs. It's easy folks. Bought the alta 19mm bar middle setting for 100 bux plus shipping. this is my first suspension mod and I have to say that it makes a huge difference when you corner. Torque steer is still present though.
Your best bang for the buck for suspension. Well there is really nothing that is going to be great performance gains that are cheap when it comes to your suspension, there is definately good performance gains though. If you are working with a budget I would look at getting chasis bars ( FSTB, RSTB, and point lower tie bar) with those you will stiffin up the chasis really nice and it will give you better handling and with all 3 of those you will spend around 6-8 hundred dollars. Coilovers are another great way to go but are really expensive but will help out a lot. Tires are a most but, you got to know what you are shopping for. Tire Rack is probably the best place so that you can get the reviews and ratings of customers. Sway Bars are great but, watch out if you tune them wrong you'll end up in the ditch after spinning out. There are also a gambit of other items like tie rod ends and the Alta PVS. Most of the suspension parts out there you can install yourself which is what I suggest cause it will save you a lot of money and it gets you closer to your car so that you know what it looks like and how it works. Some of the parts out there you will need a professional to install but, those are the type of parts that would be a PITA to install. Good luck.
