So I install my M7 strut bar today. Install only had one little glitch. My giant ITG air filter, the bar was hitting the filters aluminium part. that was an easy fix thought, took out the filter and trimmed the mounting hose adapter. Then everything fit nice. So bar installed I check for clearance problems with the hood liner did not seem bad at all a little tight but not bad. So I decide to do the wetting the liner with the spray bottle trick. It was working but it was slow and messy! So I was thinking hot water would work much better, then it came to me Steam!!! I bought a steam cleaner awile ago, I use it maybe once a year. It did the trick on the liner softened it right up. So if you like me bought a steam cleaner and never use it cause it only works good on a few things and need to install that strut bar it worked great for that!
