Suspension Rear Control Arms HOW TO, I mean Guide:
Rear Control Arms HOW TO, I mean Guide:
I installed my rear control arms and thought I'd document it so others are timid to do this mod:
Keep in mind all your experiance may very from what mine. Always remeber to think before you act when working on your car, I am not responsable for F ups YOU might do, this is mearly a guide to help you out if you choose to do this mod. Dont be scared.

chalk front tires to prevent rolling, Jack car up, put jack stand in place (never trust a jack, Ive had one fail and the car rested on my legs not fun), remove wheel, while you have your wheel removed take the time and clean out the inside of it, make the car look nicer, you may not think so, but you would be suprised.

Remove the two 18mm bolts and tap the conrol arms loose, you may need a hammer to jar them loose, see pic below

you may run in to this, I had to remove my caliper to get the bolt out, I chose not to bend the parking brake hard line. be sure you have the correct tools to do calipers.

The two nuts you see here are tricky, well the bolts are, its a very narrow opening on the other side, you will see that you will be battling the gas tank and keeping the tools on the bolt head. I used the ratched on the inside, and the combo wrench on the nut for the lower, and the combo on the inside, and the ratchet on the outside on the outside for the upper.

once removed you will have this opening ready for the your new control arms.
TO install just do what you just did but in reverse, DONT FORGET GETTING THE HOLES TO LINE UP FOR THE INSIDE PORTION OF THE INTALL WILL BE A PAIN! DONT JUST UP AND KEEP YOU COOL! Sometimes the best thing to do is walk away for a while and come back to it.

HOPE THIS HELPES! PLEASE FEEL FREE TO PM ME WITH ANY QUESTIONS!
DONT FORGET TO GET YOUR CAR ALIGNED!
and yes I know I dont know how to spell worth squat. thanks for noticing! though
