Lower ball joint spacers

After reading a bit on roll center and roll couple, etc. I have to ask some questions.

This pic is from Ryephile's suspension re-do on his EB R53.

There is also this post about the spacers.

I know that upon lowering you are changing the geometry, but is there a relation to how much you lower as to how thick to make the spacers?

Help me understand this better. Thanks.

I think I have answered my own question.
This link helped.

However, I still pose the one about is there a relation/ratio of how thick to make the plate vs how low the car is?

Too bad I missed that comment, i guess. /sarcasm

Just a simple question. Maybe I should have asked, "If I lower the car 1", do I need to make a 1" spacer to compensate?"

No, it's not a one to one ratio at all. One reason that the Mini Mania copy of my roll center corrector (which was my post I edited) will not work for just any car. You would need a shorter race shock to make use for something like that.
