I'm in the market for some new springs, i have found some Stein H tech's that seem to be in the right ballpark of finance. Does anybody have any experience with these or any other springs that are relatively inexpensive?...Or should I just keep putting money in my piggy bank until I can afford some better springs?

 

Keep putting money in the bank and go with coil overs i have the megan coil overs they were about a grand and are fully adjustable i love mine ive had them for about a year and a half now and love them!!!! oh yea they come with front camber plates too!!!!

 

Yeah, piggy bank it. I just put the BC coilovers on (same as Megan's) and installed myself. Pretty easy install since it's just a swap out. Now I have to decide wether to keep my stock struts/shocks with Eibach springs for an emergency back-up set (why, I don't know) or sell them....

 

Tein springs tend to be little cheap imho. However, TSW springs (Texas Speedwerks) work well with OEM shocks and cost about $200. Good price and a great spring!

 

I have some Koni springs that lower 1.1" for sale. I think springs are still an OK intermediary step when modding the car. Coilovers are a big step up in price unless you're sure that you'll be going the entire distance, re: springs, shocks, camber plates.
