As long as the H&R kits you are writing about is not the kit with the red springs. H&R had or still have a serious design flaw with this kit. If you want looks, have at it. If you want to track your car, stay away from this kit. As I wrote, there was one working coil after the ride and set was fixed. One working spring coil just ain't enough.

Going back briefly to the comment above about the H&R. They had a minor issue in late 2003 with some kits, but we have been selling them religiously for many years and have nary a complaint. Some people were also confused that they could raise the perch up to and slightly above the lower shock body in the front to get the car high enough in some cases. Also, on any of the concerned kits they were warrantied promptly. H&R does a great job!

Another side note i am just now selling my 02 MCS that has had coilovers on it since 2002 from H&R. Never had any issues or concerns.

Congrats on any choice you make!

Let me know if I can ever answer any questions or concerns on H&R or other brands of coilovers. They are a big purchase!

H&R would be my choice. Quality setup and an overall good ride. Megans ride kinda wierd, and Tein is like a board.

I would also consider changing my front bushing. If you do decide to, go with POWER FLEX.

After taking it down the road, an inch off the road, I would have to say that stock rides wierd. Now to raise Trixxie up about an inch or so. And to add the new control arms, gonna be loads of fun.
