Cross Coilover & M7 STB

I'm getting my Cross Coilovers installed this Friday, but was wondering if it would prevent the use of the M7 STB as well due to available thread lengths?

No, I have both the CROSS coilovers and the M7 STB on my '06 with no problems. I don't remember if the studs on the camber plates had more threads than the stock studs, but they certainly didn't have fewer.

Do the Cross have a built in camber plate? I am a noob to the Coilover scene.

The reason I ask is that I to want to get the Cross coilovers, but I have an IE fixed camber plate and the M7 STB and wonder if the IE is no longer needed. TIA and sorry for the thread jack pl4ypl4y.

yup....Crosses have built in camber plate....and also come with end links (i am also a noob and dont know exactly what the end links do lol)

I am also getting SPC control arms installed at the same time as the coilovers. I have heard that some peeps, like Jan from RMW I believe, are not using rear sway bars after install.

Ok, thanks.

No RSB? Is that a street car or track car? Is Mach V doing the install?

Um....good question...I believe Jan's car is an auto-x car....maybe you should PM him.

I decided to goto Funktion for the install...

as i understand it, the adjustable endlinks eliminate all the preload in the swaybars, allowing them to function at their best. Especially if you have coilovers, they're useful, cos everytime you corner-weight the car (or change the length of any shock unit), the preload on the bar changes, and the endlink allows you to maintain that state of zero preload.

Someone correct me if i'm wrong.

the endlinks included are not adjustable. they are shorter than stock, but only for the front.

the bolts on the Cross camber plates are LONG no issues having enough threads. I just hope I won't have any issues with the OMP strut brace

Hey i just got back from Funktion. They rock. I haven't had much time to test out the car, but will report back later. I am impressed so far with the ride what little I was able to experience during rush hour.
