Here's a parts summary for SS (Sport Suspension - standard on MC)
vs. SS+ (Sport suspension plus - optional of MC, standard on MCS):

Front Bar:

Cooper or MCS with SS+ 24mm 31 35 6 758 301 w/ bushing 31 35 6 758 302

Rear Bar:
Cooper with SS 16mm 33 55 6 754 818
Cooper or MCS with SS+ 17mm 33 55 6 754 819
same bushing for SS and SS+ rear bars

Struts:

Cooper with SS 31 30 6 759 245/246 (F=...245/R=...246)
Cooper or MSC with SS+ 31 30 6 759 247/248 (F=...247/R=248)

Springs

For the Cooper with SS : (choice depends on vehicle weight with options chosen)

31-33-6-756-645 or -646 or -647 front
33-53-6-756-657 or -658 or -659 rear (in usa only -658 or -659)

So how much of the full S suspension are you being offered?
Front swaybar
Front shocks
Front springs
Rear swaybar
Rear shocks
Rear springs

It's a little stiffer and usable for both street and for better handling.
You have to install them- cost vs your time.

One idea is to leave the front swaybar as is- the smaller front swaybar helps handling by reducing understeer compared to a thicker swaybar.

What is the price of the S suspension that you are being offered?

Also, what are you trying to achieve by going to the S suspension?

Its actually part of a package deal, front & rear strut & coils... also front brake....so i thought it may be an upgrade..

always thought the mini cooper only worth something when is has the S on the side badge & the center exhaust.... (please don't flame me) until i road test a regular cooper, you can guess i liked it...so i grabed the next deal & here i am, a new owner... but i vener even tried a S, so i can't even compare... i guess the ride must be stiffer, better handling...
