shocks

can anyone reccomend if i should get new shocks with the springs ...im lowering my car and im hearing from some that they leave shocks stock and just use springs.......and if so how long will that be safe ....will it wear out my stuff in days ...weeks...months...few miles ?....couple thousand???will springs do fine with everything else stock ?

I know there are people who have done that. Whose springs are you using? How much drop? At the very least you'll need to cut the bumpstops down so you still have some shock travel.

Just upgrade the shocks while you're at it. Saves you time and maybe money in the end. Get Koni Yellow's...I just got a set and they are fantastic!
